Steven Tan is VP & CTO Cloud Solution, Storage at Futurewei where he is responsible for open source strategy and collaboration. Steven brought together leaders across industries, and founded the SODA Foundation which he currently serves as chair. SODA Foundation is a transformation of the Linux Foundation OpenSDS project which he initiated previously. Steven’s career brought him across Singapore, US, China and Taiwan, and includes roles as founder and CTO at Cloudena, VP Engineering at ProphetStor, and VP Engineering and Technology at CipherMax. Steven is an alumnus of Nanyang Technological University and National University of Singapore.

Responsible for researching & designing hybrid cloud infrastructure (including datacenter itself, cooling mechanism as well) which is dedicated for Connected vehicle & Autonomous vehicle.

Xin Zhong got his Masters Degree from Tsinghua University in 2003. He has nearly 20 years of open source related experience. He is an expert in Linux OS, distributed storage and cloud computing. He has been involved in development and operation of several large-scale internet and enterprise cloud platform as technical director or chief architect.Currently, he is the CTO of Wo Cloud for China Unicom. He is in charge of the development team with nearly 200 engineers who are working for public cloud, private cloud and multi-cloud management products.

Working on setting the strategic vision and technical architecture for product and service offerings in the areas of integrated systems and storage management of large scale data centers, including software defined environments, information lifecycle management, optimization of resources in cloud environment and disaster recovery. In addition, Cloud native application architecture and their high availability and disaster recovery, AI enabled cloud resources management and distributed application deployment and monitoring of IoT environments. Exploring and prototyping new product ideas.

Shinya Hamano is a Manager at Fujitsu, In charge of the planning and development of new IT platform services in the fields of storage, cloud-native, AI, and IoT.

Kei Kusunoki has worked on the storage service/solution for telecom carrier’s cloud service since 2012. He has joined OpenSDS Project since 2018, showed the pain point of storage management from Service Provider’s perspective and proposed use-cases/demands of　Japanese end-user community.

Anjaneya “Reddy” Chagam is a Senior Principal Engineer and Lead Cloud Storage Architect in Intel’s Cloud and Enterprise Solutions Group. He is responsible for developing software-defined storage strategy, architecture, and technology initiatives. He was a member of the Technical Steering Committee for the OpenSDS Project and he represents Intel on the Ceph board. He is a Chief Architect responsible for delivering software optimizations in Ceph via Intel upstream contributions. He is a regular speaker at major industry conferences, including Storage Developer Conference, OpenStack, CloudNativeCon and Red Hat Summit, has published several white papers on flash-optimized storage solutions. He earned an MS in computer science from Arizona State University.

Yoshiya Eto is a Principal Architect at Fujitsu and a Linux Foundation Fellow. He also served as Fujitsu’s representative to The Linux Foundation Board of Directors.

He has been involved in operating systems at the company, including development and management of Fujitsu’s proprietary operating systems and Linux. For more than 10 years, he led Linux community engineers in Fujitsu in working with the Linux community. Under his leadership, his team was one of the largest contributors to the Linux kernel and continuously contributed patches to improve features and the stability of Linux for enterprise use.
